Ok, let’s start here. I want you to take a big old breath in, and exhale.

This is probably the first time you’ve ever done something like this so it’s all a little daunting and you might be a little overwhelmed.

I want you to not just think of me as your wedding photographer but also a friend, teammate, unofficial wedding party member and guide. Let me help with timelines and make sure dresses are fanned out and bow ties are straightened so that when you look at your gallery you’re reliving the happy tears from the day, not just once but time and time again.

In my opinion, the best photos happen when you’re relaxed so it’s my job to get you to that zen like place where you’re comfortable and ready to get cute or weird or whatever it is you feel like doing.

Choosing to share your memories with me means that I’m right there in the action with you every step of the way.

Are you ready? Because I’m pumped.

 FAQ’s

(They’re called frequently asked questions for a reason)

We’re super awkward and not very photogenic, you’ll make us look good right?

For starters I can guarantee you’re not even remotely as close to being as un-photogenic and awkward as you think you are. We’re all our own harshest critics. I like to make sure you’re as relaxed as possible and that often leads to magic happening. We’ll talk about self conscious sticking points before your wedding or session and I’ll make sure I’m all over your best angles.

My venue requires insurance, can you provide this?

Absolutely! We have personal liability insurance of up to $1,000,000. We’re happy to provide your venue with a certificate of insurance 30 days prior to your wedding day.

What happens if you can’t photograph our wedding that we’ve booked you for?

This hasn’t happened yet, but should something prevent me from being able to photograph your wedding I will organise a trusted substitute to be there on my behalf. I’m a part of a big community of professionals who are amazing at stepping up when needed.

Can we get all of the RAW images you take?

This is an interesting point of contention in the wedding photography world. My perspective is that you’re paying me for more than just standing there and pressing a button. You’re also paying me for my editing style, curatorial skills and making sure you have a seamless gallery of your wedding so 99.99% of the time you won’t see the RAW images. If you REALLY REALLY BADLY want them I’m happy to let them go for a fee. Let’s talk.

We think we might want albums or prints, what’s the deal?

PSA: PRINT YOUR PHOTOS. Your online gallery is linked to a personal online store where you can design and purchase high quality albums, framed prints and more. I give everything a look over before it’s sent off to the printers but you have creative control over your photos.

What’s the downpayment to book you in?

I usually require a non-refundable 50% retainer to secure your date with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to your event. I get that weddings are expensive and add up, so if you need to chat about a payment plan please let me know. I can be flexible.
